Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam and initiators of COVID Sneltestpunt joined forces to stimulate testing. Fast, reliable, safe and preventive. Hotel guests, Amsterdam locals, entrepreneurs and their employees could test at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam.
The Grand was the first hotel in Amsterdam that puts a space at its disposal to facilitate a COVID-19 test location. The test location opened its doors in April 2021. By opening the test point, The Grand hopes to contribute to the recovery of society.
Both antigen rapid tests and rapid PCR tests are available. A child-friendly testing method is used for children up to 12 years old. Antigen rapid test results will be received within 30 minutes and rapid PCR test results will be received by email within 1 hour together with the accompanying travel certificate that is required for international travel purposes. COVID Sneltestpunt is one of the first parties to offer PCR tests in the form of a rapid test and can send the results within 1 hour. This is possible thanks to the 'in-house lab' that has been realised in The Grand; the samples do not require refrigerated transport to an external laboratory, but are analysed directly on site.

Appointments can be scheduled via the website of COVID Sneltestpunt. The test location is open seven days a week: from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
